Yoga came to Amy 12 years ago whilst living in Sydney to help improve her flexibility and fitness. Amy soon realised that there was so much more to yoga than what she first perceived it to be. The more yoga Amy practiced the more interested she became in the practising yoga the right way.

Amy has always been passionate in posture alignment. Her curiosity in alignment led her to complete her 200 YTT course in Costa Rica in 2016. Initially she did the course for herself and her own development. However something happens when you do such a course. Amy realised she wanted to teach others, she wanted to teach others what real yoga is. Those internal subtle aspects of yoga that make yoga unique.

Amy’s key focus is to make everyone feel comfortable when they are in her classes. Amy mainly teaches beginners or a gentle strong Hatha style flow. She focuses on slowing down our mind through the breath.

Amy has been teaching yoga in her local community hall for 3 years. She also teaches Kid Yoga and more recently completed her qualifications for Yoga Nidra and Yin Yoga. These last two courses she will be exploring more deeply, this is where the magic happens.
