This class is designed for those seeking either a gentle practice or for beginners.
Hot Power Yoga
This is a vigorous type of yoga undertaken in a studio heated to +30 degrees Celsius. The practice is generally either a strong flow of yoga poses/asanas, or poses/asanas held for several breaths, designed to create heat within the body. The reported benefits include weight loss, relaxation of muscles, increased flexibility and improved sleep. This type of yoga is not recommended for people with blood conditions or heat intolerance.
Vinyasa is the Sanskrit Word for “flow” and these classes are known for their fluid, movement-intensive practices. Sandstone Yoga Flow classes flow smoothly, transitioning from pose to pose, with intensity building at a pace suitable for all students. This class is particularly suitable for students who dislike predictability and routine and want to build their physical capabilities.
Ashtanga is a vigorous system of yoga developed by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois. A set of increasingly challenging poses link the breath with dynamic movement. It builds strength and flexibility in the body as well as a meditative and calm focus in the mind. Ashtanga classes in a studio environment are best delivered over 75 minutes.

This is a class designed to gently stretch the body. Likely to be suitable for anyone with a non-acute knee or back injury seeking to build their flexibility and strength in a gentle way.
Yin yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga with poses that are held for longer periods of time from two to five minutes. Yin yoga poses apply moderate stress to the tendons, fascia, and ligaments in the body to create the benefits of increased circulation in the joints and improved flexibility. A more meditative approach to yoga, yin aims to slow the mind down.
This is gentle hatha yoga designed for mums to be. The practice is focused on preparation for the birth, breathing, visualisation and relaxation. This class is also a way for expectant moms to meet new mom friends!
